Steve Vinovich can be seen in the newly released drama, Worth, which had its premiere at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. He has been doing this acting thing for a while. He’s been truly blessed. Has actually made a living as an actor. Raised in Peoria Illinois, Vinovich Attended the University of Illinois and UCLA before receiving a full scholarship to the Juilliard Acting School which brought him to NY. There he studied under under John Houseman, Strasberg Institute, Charles Nelson Reilly, and Larry Moss.
His Broadway credits include: Waitress, All The Way, Loose Ends, Lost in Yonkers, The Magic Show, The Robber Bridegroom, The Grand Tour, The Secret Rapture, and Love Letters. He appeared Off-Broadway in Old Jews Telling Jokes and in the National Tour of The Dinner Party. He has worked regionally in over 100 plays and musicals. Recently the American Shakespeare Festival’s A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Westport Playhouse’s Diary of Anne Frank, and Pittsburgh Public’s production of 1776 (Benjamin Franklin). Additional regional credits include: Pasadena Playhouse - The Foreigner, The Little Foxes. Laguna Playhouse - Art, The Price. Reprise: Kiss Me Kate, Strike up the Band, and Babes in Arms. Pacific Resident Theater: Awake and Sing , Golden Boy , All My Sons. Stratford: Twelfth Night with Lynn Redgrave. Public: Midsummer Nights Dream. NCT: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, How I Learned to Drive, and Inherit the Wind.
Vinovich’s additional film credits include The Intern, Shirley, The Santa Clause, Awakenings, Mannequin, and Puffin in The Swan Princess. He has appeared in over 120 guest roles on television, most recently The Godfather of Harlem and such iconic shows as 3’s Company, LA Law, Hill Street Blues, Roseanne, Star Trek, ER, Everybody Loves Raymond, Law and Order, Matlock, Touched by an Angel, Malcom in the Middle, and yes, even Hannah Montana. Vinovich can be seen in over 200 commercials and is the recipient of three LA Drama Logue Awards.
